November turned out to be one of the busiest and most varied months of the year — comedy, classics, chart acts, and even a night of cinematic music.
November 4th – Jet2 Young Chef of the Year (Private Event)
A smaller event but a big setup — a corporate-style awards night for Jet2’s staff and apprentices.
By the end, there were crumbs of canapés and confetti across the floor, and even a few chef hats left behind.
November 7th – Peter Kay (Comedy)
The legend himself.
Peter Kay brought two hours of laughter that felt like five minutes. The arena was packed, easily 12,000+ people, all laughing in sync.
Definitely one of the biggest comedy nights of the year.
November 8th & 29th – Five (Music)
The pop nostalgia train rolled in with Five, performing two separate nights this month.
Cheesy hits, big singalongs, and a crowd that was loving every second.
November 14th – Bob Dylan (Music)
A quieter crowd but a huge name.
Bob Dylan’s fans are the listening kind — heads nodding, eyes closed, completely locked into the music.
November 15th – Jim Jefferies (Comedy)
Sharp, loud, and very funny — Jim Jefferies delivered his no-filter style to a near-sold-out crowd.
Comedy nights always have their own rhythm, and this one was pure energy.
November 20th – JLS (Music)
A pop night to remember.
Even with Ashton performing on crutches, the group gave it everything, and the crowd fed off it — singing, waving lights, the full arena moment.
November 23rd – Hans Zimmer (Music)
The man behind Pirates of the Caribbean and Inception — Hans Zimmer’s show was on another level.
Seeing a film composer perform live with a full orchestra is something else entirely. The arena felt like a cinema turned concert hall.
November 30th – Mumford & Sons (Music)
A folk-rock finish to the month.
Foot-stomping energy, harmonies, and a crowd that sang along word-for-word.
Perfect way to head into December.
Final Thoughts
November felt like the warm-up to Christmas — fast-paced, varied, and full of moments that reminded me why I love this job.
