March 2026 was one of those months where you stop and think, “Only at the arena…”
From Disney magic on ice to live politics, stand-up comedy, and even glowing monster trucks, this month had everything — and then some.
March 5th–8th – Disney on Ice (Family Event)
March kicked off with Disney on Ice, taking over the arena for four days straight.
These shows always bring a completely different atmosphere. Families everywhere, kids dressed as their favourite characters, and that mix of excitement and chaos that only a family event can create.
By the time the final show finished each night, the arena floor told the real story — popcorn, glitter, and the occasional lost toy under the seats.
Long shifts, but there’s something about Disney shows that keeps the mood light, no matter how much cleaning there is to do.
March 22nd – Greg Davies (Comedy)
Next up was Greg Davies, bringing a full arena of laughter.
Comedy nights always have their own rhythm — less mess, more atmosphere. You can still hear people laughing even as the crowd leaves, like the energy just lingers in the building.
Compared to the bigger music shows, this one was a smoother shift — but just as enjoyable.
March 24th – Reform UK Event (Live Political Event)
Then came something completely different.
A Reform UK event took place at the arena — and yes, you heard that right. A political-style event in the same space that hosts concerts, comedy, and family shows.
It felt more like a public talk or local council-style gathering than a typical arena night, but it still brought a full crowd and its own kind of energy.

It’s moments like this that really show how versatile the arena is — one day it’s Disney on Ice, the next it’s a live political discussion on stage.
March 25th – Gorillaz (Music)
Straight back into music with Gorillaz.
A completely different vibe again — visuals, beats, and a crowd fully locked into the performance.
You could feel the bass through the floor, and even after the last track ended, that energy stuck around.
By the time we got in to clean, it was the usual aftermath — cups, confetti, and that post-show silence that always feels a bit surreal after such a loud night.
March 28th–29th – Hot Wheels Glow Party (Family Event)
To finish the month, the arena lit up — literally — with the Hot Wheels Glow Party.
Bright lights, glowing tracks, monster trucks, and a crowd full of kids loving every second of it.
It’s one of those shows where the visuals stay with you — neon colours, flashing lights, and a completely different kind of mess to clean up afterwards.
A fun, high-energy way to close out the month.
Final Thoughts
March 2026 was all about variety.
From ice rinks to stand-up comedy, from live politics to music and glowing monster trucks — every week felt like a completely different world inside the same building.
That’s what makes this job what it is.
No two nights are ever the same — and just when you think you’ve seen it all, the arena throws something new at you.
